Maryland High School Soccer - Northwood toppled by Bethesda-Chevy Chase
October 14, 2025: Bethesda, MD 20814 Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bethesda-Chevy Chase moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Barons host Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-2. Wheaton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD)
The Gladiators now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Blake for a non-league outing on Friday, October 17. Northwood will play a Bengals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Bengals record now stands at 2-4.
