October 14, 2025: Sumner, WA 98390 The Sumner Spartans smashed the visiting Yelm Tornados soccer team by a tally of 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound game, on Thursday, October 16. Sumner will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Sentinels enter the game with a 0-10 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA).
The Tornados (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves go into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, South Kitsap nudged Curtis (University Place, WA), 2-1, in a league challenge.
