In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Northwood Gladiators.

The Barons (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Wheaton edged Poolesville (Poolesville, MD), 5-1, in a non-league test.

The Gladiators now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blake for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. Northwood will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Bengals record now stands at 5-2.
