Missouri High School Soccer - Jefferson Independent Day toppled by New Heights Christian Academy
October 14, 2025: Joplin, MO 64801 New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers (Joplin, MO), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, New Heights Christian Academy moves its record to 3-16 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Marshfield (Marshfield, MO) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league test on Monday, October 20. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 1-8.
With the loss, Jefferson Independent Day moves to 0-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Lighthouse Christian won 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ozarks Christian Academy (West Plains, MO)
