Michigan High School Volleyball - Thurston bounced by Academy of the Sacred Heart
October 14, 2025: Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304 Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Academy of the Sacred Heart improves its record to 5-11 on the season. The Gazelles travel to Roeper (Birmingham, MI) to meet the Roughriders in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 24. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a record of 3-17.
Next, the Eagles meet the Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Thurston will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI).
