Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Elgin improves its record to 6-20 on the season. The Maroons host Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 15-11.

The Tomcats now sport a 2-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marist for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16. Aurora East will play a RedHawks team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 22-5.
