October 14, 2025: Georgetown, DE 19947 Delmarva Christian Royals (Georgetown, DE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Caravel Academy (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Caravel Academy lost by St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen North game, on Thursday, October 16. Polytech will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Golden Knights go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Indian River (Dagsboro, DE).
