October 15, 2021: Alcester, SD 57001 The Colome Cowboys football team (Colome, SD), was ripped 56-8 in Friday's league challenge with the host Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD)
The Cubs (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Sully Buttes was ripped by Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 50-0, in a league challenge.
The Cowboys now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Faulkton for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 21. Colome will confront a Trojans team coming off a 50-14 league win over North Central (Eureka, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.
