In Friday's league match, the visiting Belmont-Gilford Red Raiders football squad scored a good 27-16 victory over the Merrimack Valley The Pride.

In their next game, the Red Raiders clash with the Plymouth Bobcats (Plymouth, NH) in a Division II - East match, on Saturday, October 23. Belmont-Gilford will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 28-21 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH).

The The Pride (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH). The Indians enter the Division II - East match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Sanborn Regional ran past Kennett (Conway, NH), 41-22, in a league match.
