The Golden Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Yellowjackets come into the 4A Region 2 challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Ashford was beaten by St. James (Montgomery, AL), 35-8, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Straughn for a 4A Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 22. Dale County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 19-17 league win over Alabama Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
