October 15, 2021: New Castle, VA 24127 The Craig County Rockets football team (New Castle, VA), was ripped 40-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA)
The Fighting Blues (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the Pioneer challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Covington trounced Narrows (Narrows, VA), 33-26, in a league challenge.
The Rockets now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bath County for a Pioneer challenge on Friday, October 22. Craig County will meet a Chargers team coming off a 28-6 league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-5.
