The Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE) football overcame the host Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), 57-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Lincoln Christian Crusaders (Lincoln, NE) in a C1 District 1 bout, on Friday, October 22. Nebraska City will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 46-20 league loss to Milford (Milford, NE).

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Auburn (Auburn, NE). The Bulldogs enter the C1 District 1 bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Auburn thwarted Fairbury (Fairbury, NE), 67-12, in a league bout.
