The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA) and the host Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA), observed Mt. Rainier's football squad edge Tahoma by a count of 49-48.

The Rams now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, October 23. Mt. Rainier will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 33-9 league win over Kentlake (Kent, WA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-3.

Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Kentridge Chargers (Kent, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic contest, on Saturday, October 23. Tahoma will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 59-14 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA).
