The South Mecklenburg Sabres football squad scored 31 points and limited the visiting Olympic Trojans to 29 in the Sabres league win on Friday.

The Sabres now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Myers Park for a 4A West Conference 49 battle on Friday, October 22. South Mecklenburg will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 37-0 league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-2.
