October 15, 2021: Sutherlin, OR 97479 In Friday's league match, the visiting South Umpqua Lancers football squad scored a good 35-6 victory over the Sutherlin Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) in a 3A Special District 2 match, on Friday, October 22. South Umpqua will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Challengers enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 28-0 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR).
The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Crusaders enter the 3A Special District 2 match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, St. Mary's ran past Elmira (Elmira, OR), 35-32, in a non-league match.
