October 15, 2022: Belfast, ME 04915 In Saturday's league match, the host Belfast Lions football squad scored a good 44-14 victory over the Old Town Coyotes.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a C North match, on Friday, October 21. Belfast will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Mariners enter the match with a 4-3 record after their 35-32 league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME).
The Coyotes (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Broncos enter the C North match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Hampden dropped by John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME), 15-12, in a non-league bout.
