The Big Bear Bears football team (Big Bear City, CA), was knocked off 49-35 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA)

The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders come into the Ironwood challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Village Christian knocked off Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA), 39-34, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Christian for a Ironwood challenge on Friday, October 21. Big Bear will meet a Defenders team coming off a 50-14 league loss to Aquinas (San Bernardino, CA). The Defenders record now stands at 2-6.
