The Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) football nudged the visiting Fairmont Heights Hornets (Capitol Heights, MD), 12-8 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) in a Prince George's County 2A/1A bout, on Friday, October 21.
