The Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) football overcame the visiting Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), 35-14 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 21. Hillside will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Ramblers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 20-19 non-league loss to Rahway (Rahway, NJ).

The Terriers (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Canucks enter the Big Central - United Silver bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, North Plainfield was toppled by St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ), 56-7, in a non-league bout.
