October 15, 2022: West Islip, NY 11795 West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Huntington Blue Devils (Huntington, NY), 31-20 in a league test.
With the win, West Islip improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Northport (Northport, NY) to confront the Tigers in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 22. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-2. Northport lost 21-7 in their recent league test against Bellport (Brookhaven, NY)
With the loss, Huntington moves to 1-5 on the season. The Blue devils host Connetquot (Bohemia, NY) to confront the T-Birds in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 22. The T-Birds go into the test with a record of 4-2. Connetquot won 41-8 in their recent league test against Copiague (Copiague, NY)
