Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), 7-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley challenge, on Wednesday, October 19. Oxford will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 6-3 league loss to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT).

The Greyhounds now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ansonia for a Naugatuck Valley challenge on Monday, October 17.
