The Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) volleyball were winner over the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

With the win, Natchitoches Central upgrades its record to 27-5 on the year. The Chiefs host Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Evangel Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA)

The Sharks now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Glen Oaks for a Division III District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 18.
