The Saline Hornets held off the visiting Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dexter for a South Eastern - Red test on Tuesday, October 18. Saline will confront a Dreadnaughts team coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem (Canton, MI). The Dreadnaughts record now stands at 4-2.

The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Clarenceville (Livonia, MI). The Trojans enter the Metro test with a 1-3 record.
