October 15, 2024: Greensboro, GA 30642 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) and the visiting Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), witnessed Greene County's flag football squad edge Salem by a tally of 18-12.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Oconee County was nudged by Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA), 20-19, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Seminoles battle the Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 21. Salem will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Astros enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 25-0 non-league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).
