Georgia High School Flag Football - Newton thwarted by Lambert
October 15, 2024: Suwanee, GA 30024 Lambert Longhorns (Suwanee, GA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 26-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lambert improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Longhorns host Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) to play the in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 24. The go into the battle with a record of 1-3.
The Rams now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Buford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 15. Newton will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
