Illinois High School Soccer - Sterling toppled by Rock Island
October 15, 2024: Sterling, IL 61081 Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Rock Island advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign.
The Golden Warriors now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sycamore for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Sterling will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.
