Oregon High School Soccer - Franklin knocks off Benson Tech
October 15, 2024: Portland, OR 97232 The Franklin Quakers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Benson Tech Techmen to 1 in the Quakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Quakers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Lake Oswego for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 17. Franklin will play a Lakers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Tualatin (Tualatin, OR). The Lakers record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Benson Tech moves to 1-10 on the year. The Techmen travel to Roosevelt (Portland, OR) to play the Roughriders in a 6A Portland Interscholastic bout on Thursday, October 17. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Roosevelt won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Cleveland (Portland, OR)
