With the triumph, Elk Rapids advances its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Elks travel to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI) to clash with the Gladiators in a Lake Michigan test on Thursday, October 17. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 15-5. St. Francis won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Manistee (Manistee, MI)
The Pirates now have a 12-9 record.
