October 15, 2024: Ottawa, KS 66067 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ottawa Cyclones (Ottawa, KS) and the visiting Leavenworth PIONEERS (Leavenworth, KS), saw Ottawa's soccer squad hold off Leavenworth by a count of 2-1.
The Cyclones (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 0-13 record. In their last battle, Basehor-Linwood was edged by Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the PIONEERS battle the Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 17. Leavenworth will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Paola (Paola, KS).
