New Jersey High School Volleyball - Newark Academy can't get by Rutgers Prep
October 15, 2024: Livingston, NJ 07039 Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rutgers Prep improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Argonauts travel to The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ) to face the Big Blue in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Big Blue go into the test with a record of 1-11. The Pingry School lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ)
The Minutemen now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millburn for a Super Essex - A test on Wednesday, October 16. Newark Academy will face a Millers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Millers record now stands at 14-8.
