October 15, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85033 The Browne Bruins got by the visiting Alhambra Lions flag football team by a margin of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bruins now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Point for a 6A Metro test on Thursday, October 16. Browne will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 68-0 non-league loss to Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Dragons record now stands at 1-4.
With the defeat, Alhambra drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ) to face the Knights in a 5A Metro challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Lake Havasu won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
