October 15, 2025: Apex, NC 27518 The South Wake Lions felled the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains football team by a score of 40-18 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions face the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders (Harrells, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 23. South Wake will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 0-5 record after their 39-6 league loss to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC).
With the defeat, Bishop McGuinness drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Villains travel to South Davidson (Denton, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-1. South Davidson won 28-22 in their recent non-league test against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
