Maryland High School Football - Bishop McNamara thwarted by DeMatha
October 15, 2025: Hyattsville, MD 20781 DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), 20-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, DeMatha improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Stags travel to Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC) to play the Knights in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 16. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-1.
The Mustangs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league match on Wednesday, November 5. Bishop McNamara will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 26-7 non-league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
