Maryland High School Volleyball - Chesapeake Science Point overwhelmed by South River
October 15, 2025: Hanover, MD 21076 South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Chesapeake Science Point (Hanover, MD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, South River improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Seahawks host Southern (Harwood, MD) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Southern lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Severn Run (Severn, MD)
Next, the play the Crofton (Gambrills, MD) in a Class 4A East Region II challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Chesapeake Science Point will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Arundel (Gambrills, MD).
