Maryland High School Volleyball - Chopticon bounced by La Plata
October 15, 2025: La Plata, MD 20646 La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, North Point was beaten by Northern (Owings, MD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves meet the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. Chopticon will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD).
