New York High School Football - Hackley defeats Riverdale Country
October 16, 2021: Bronx, NY 10471 Hackley Hornets (Tarrytown, NY) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Riverdale Country Falcons (Bronx, NY), 21-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Hackley improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Rye Country Day (Rye, NY) to battle the Wildcats in a Metropolitan Independent Football - Pod B test on Saturday, October 23. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-2. Rye Country Day lost 42-18 in their recent league test against Hopkins (New Haven, CT)
With the loss, Riverdale Country drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Fieldston (Bronx, NY) to battle the Eagles in a Metropolitan Independent Football - Pod B test on Monday, October 18. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-2. Fieldston won 20-15 in their recent league test against Horace Mann (Riverdale, NY)
