October 16, 2021: New Fairfield, CT 06812 New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rebels confront the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, October 19. New Fairfield will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT).
The Warriors now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ellington for a Central Connecticut - North challenge on Tuesday, October 19. Canton will confront a Knights team coming off a 1-1 league East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Knights record now stands at 5-0.
