October 16, 2023: Newburgh, NY 12550 The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Roosevelt Presidents to 0 in the Goldbacks non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Goldbacks face the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) in a Section 9 Division I contest, on Tuesday, October 17. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 10-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY).
