October 16, 2023: Inwood, WV 25428 The Jefferson Cougars football team (Shenandoah Junction, WV), was tipped 18-12 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV)
The Applemen (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Washington nipped Hampshire (Romney, WV), 28-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clarksburg for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 24. Jefferson will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 44-8 non-league win over Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-1.
