New York High School Volleyball - Monticello tips Port Jervis
October 16, 2023: Port Jervis, NY 12771 Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 17. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Crusaders come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
With the loss, Port Jervis drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 18. The Gladiators come into the match with a record of 4-0.
