Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Miners confront the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) in a Appalachian challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 1-0 league loss to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD).
