October 16, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15209 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), saw Shaler Area's soccer squad beat Hempfield Area by a margin of 5-1.
The Titans now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 18. Shaler Area will meet a Talbots squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 14-2.
With the loss, Hempfield Area drops to 0-14 on the season. The Spartans travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 13-4. Mt. Pleasant lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA)
