The St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings volleyball team (Buckeystown, MD), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA)

The Knights (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions enter the Washington Catholic challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Carroll was dropped by Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a IAAM A challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. St. John's Catholic Prep will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD).
