The Grand View Christian Thunder held off the host East Marshall Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Thunder now have a 8-32 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grundy Center for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 18. Grand View Christian will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 34-7.

With the loss, East Marshall drops to 6-29 on the campaign.
