Virginia High School Volleyball - Northampton overwhelmed by Middlesex
October 16, 2023: Saluda, VA 23149 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Middlesex Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Northampton Yellowjackets.
The Chargers (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Point (West Point, VA). The Pointers come into the Tidewater battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, West Point defeated Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 18. Northampton will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 1-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Southampton (Courtland, VA).
