Pennsylvania High School Football - Mifflin County can't hold off Gettysburg
October 16, 2024: Gettysburg, PA 17325 Gettysburg Warriors (Gettysburg, PA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 36-30 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Gettysburg advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 23. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Lower Dauphin won 19-6 in their recent non-league battle against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA)
The Huskies now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Red Land for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 23. Mifflin County will play a Patriots team coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.
