October 16, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Largo Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Falcons.
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Douglass beat Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Falcons battle the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 21. Central will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Surrattsville (Clinton, MD).
