The Lackawanna Trail Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Forest City Foresters to 2 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now have a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Western Wayne for a Lackawanna outing on Thursday, October 17. Lackawanna Trail will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-8.

With the loss, Forest City drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Foresters host Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA) to play the Raiders in a Lackawanna outing on Friday, October 18.
