New Mexico High School Football - Del Norte toppled by Valley

The Del Norte Knights football team (Albuquerque, NM), dropped 39-23 in Thursday's league bout with the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM)

With the win, Valley advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Vikings host Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to battle the Hilltoppers in a 5A District 1 contest on Saturday, October 25. The Hilltoppers enter the contest with a record of 8-0. Los Alamos won 50-0 in their recent league contest against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)

Coming up next, the Knights battle the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, October 24. Del Norte will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 28-12 league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
