The Tazewell Bulldogs football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Marion Scarlet Hurricanes to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a Southwest game, on Friday, October 24. Tazewell will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Blue Tornado enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 42-7 non-league win over Central Wise (Norton, VA).

The Scarlet Hurricanes (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Pioneers come into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Fort Chiswell was overwhelmed by Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 37-0, in a league outing.
